Flaxseed oil

Our flaxseed oil is one of the most valuable vegetable oils with proven health properties. It contains over 90% of unsaturated fatty acids (Omega-6 and Omega-3), of which over 50% (a record amount) is Omega-3, which is crucial for the functioning of the body. Its deficiency affects the formation and development of many diseases.

Omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids that might affect:
  • proper functioning of the cardiovascular system,
  • regulate blood cholesterol,
  • they normalize the pressure in that area,
  • have a positive effect on the improvement of eyesight and the nervous system,
  • and many, many others;

It is very important to consume flaxseed oil, in addition to the optimal proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, it contains very large amounts of vitamin E and antioxidants (lignans) that may protect cells against the harmful effects of free radicals. They damage the body’s cells and can contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease, cancer and faster skin aging.

Other properties of vitamin E include:
  • anti-inflammatory effect – incl. inhibition of COX-2 cyclooxygenase,
  • anti-aging effect,
  • potential anti-cancer effect – prostate cancer prophylaxis,
  • beneficial effects in metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity,
  • prevention of cardiovascular incidents, especially heart attacks,
  • beneficial effect on blood pressure, incl. by increasing the production of endothelial nitric oxide with a vasodilating effect on the smooth muscle of the blood vessels;

High-quality flaxseed oil is also recommended for pregnant women – after all, it is a source of Omega-3 acids, which are necessary for the proper development of the fetus.

Flaxseed oil – properties for hair

Flaxseed oil can slow down male pattern baldness by appropriately influencing hormones. People who do not struggle with the problem of hair loss can also benefit from the benefits of flaxseed oil. The specificity is best for the care of dry, brittle, weak, damaged by dyeing or sun-damaged hair. It can make the ends stop splitting and the entire hair regains its elasticity. Perfectly moisturizes the hair from the roots to the ends. Thanks to vitamin F, which accelerates the healing of wounds, it is helpful in the fight against scalp psoriasis. It reduces dandruff and hair loss, increases their growth and comprehensively regenerates.

Applying flaxseed oil to hair:
  • The first method is overnight hair oiling. Before falling asleep, apply the oil to the entire length of your hair (if you have normal or oily hair, only do it on the ends). Brush your hair and hide under a shower cap. In the morning, wash with shampoo. Repeat the treatment twice a week.
  • If your hair is quite fine and you don’t want to weigh it down, apply the oil for 30 minutes only. Then wash your head thoroughly with shampoo and rinse.
  • In the case of hair loss, dandruff and psoriasis, rub a small amount of oil into the scalp 2 or 3 times a week.
  • The oil is also a popular ingredient in home hair masks.

Flaxseed oil – properties for skin

Flaxseed oil is an effective weapon in the fight against dry, flaccid and even mature skin. If you are struggling with such problems, include linseed oil in your daily face and body skin care. People with oily and shiny skin, who should use flaxseed oil several times a week, will also benefit from the power of nature. The alpha-linolenic acid contained in it helps to balance the rate of sebum production. The result is slow, breathable pores and fewer unwanted pimples.

Application of flaxseed oil to the skin:
  • As an oil for dry skin, it should be used in the evening, every day or every other day. Apply it in the evening to cleansed skin with a cotton ball or with your hands
  • You can also apply the oil topically in the form of a soothing compress, e.g. on dry elbows.
  • Linseed oil for oily skin can be used as a tonic to rub the skin with a few minutes before applying the cream.
  • The oil is also a good addition to moisturizing masks, clay masks and dry peels.

For oral use, our oil is perfect. Flaxseed oil can be drunk from 4 to 8 tablespoons a day.Flaxseed oil is also an excellent ingredient of dishes – for salads, for sandwiches or as a cold sauce. (However, remember to eat flaxseed oil only cold and add it to your dishes after cooking.)As we mentioned before, linseed oil can also be used on skin and hair in various forms!
